SpitFire (backpack model) burners for thermal weeding
Find out why it is a suitable option for you
FlashCutter has created a technologically advanced burner
with unmatched performance
Description
The principle on which the thermal weeding technique is based is that of boiling the tissues of weeds.
Heat stroke, during treatment, must be brief to avoid carbonisation of the plant matter.
The thermal weeding allows to carry out an ecological weeding since the propane, when burning, is transformed into water vapour and carbon dioxide.
The weeding allows to protect:
The environment
Human health
The water tables
The quality of the soil
Advantages
FlashCutter has created “SpitFire”, a technologically advanced line of burners for fire weeding.
Quiet (internal combustion engines are noisy e.g. brush cutters)
Economical (kg / h 2.0 at a pressure of 1.3bar)
Unparalleled performance
Maximum security
Exceptional performance

Maximum security
- Automatic gas shut-off valve in case of leakage or breakage of the flexible hose; pressure regulator (fig. 1)
- Backfire safety valve mounted in line on the flexible pipe. (fig. 2)
- Piezoelectric ignition (fig. 3)
Exceptional performance
The particular shape of the burner allows you to sweep a large surface at once.
The powerful flame of the SpitFire burner allows you to weed large areas in less time.

Quality
The lance tube, the burner and the fittings are made of STAINLESS STEEL.
Comfort
- The ergonomics of the handle and the good weight distribution of the lance allow the user to work for a long time without getting tired.
- Padded and height-adjustable shoulder straps for a better fit.
- The waist connection guarantees stability and correct weight distribution.
